Baseball 2011

Tate and Max decided to play baseball this spring. Max ended up missing a lot of his baseball season because we were on a VERY fun trip to see the Peterson's in their new digs (I have got to find pictures from that trip!!!) and then had his tonsils out. He jumped into the season when it was over half way through, but caught right up like a champ. I think he is pretty much ready to move on from T-ball though.

I know this one is blurry, but I love how the ball is just dangling in the air like that ( :

The Riverdogs. That was the name of his team. He had such a nice coach, too.

We had (yet another) freak hailstorm in May. Luckily we were at home and NOT at a ballgame. Our seedlings for our new garden didn't survive this one. Thank goodness for Home Depot.

Tate was on the Blue Jays this year. Most of his team was the same from last year, and they were well-prepared for battle. Tate takes this stuff seriously.

Very seriously.

He is a great ball player, and loves to win. Loves to hit the ball. Gets pretty frustrated if he doesn't get on base. He has nerves and guts and I love to watch him play! He is a fierce competitor.

This is Tate and Benny watching Max's T-ball game. They were on the same team this year. They were like Click and Clack. I just love watching them together. I need to remember to send this to Jackie.
