Our July Highlights...
We hiked. We took a 4th of July hike on what turned out to be a VERY difficult trail up one of the mountains in the Presidential Range in NH. We didn't make it to the top. Probably because I face-planted in the middle of a pile of rocks. So graceful.

Seth, Tate, Doug, Jonathan, Jeff, and Austin did an amazing 2 day hike up Mount Madison and Mount Washington. They braved foul weather conditions to make it to the top for an experience of a lifetime. Man, I am so proud of those guys. And so glad they all made it home safe and sound.

We raced remote control cars and flying things. The boys love taking all of their RC toys down to the high school parking lot and going nuts.

We spent a day at the Boston Commons, rode the swan boats, played in Frog Pond. We also went to the Children's Museum, and ate at what Megan and I deemed the Best Bakery Ever...Flour, right near the Children's Museum.

We also did the one thing Doug and I don't like to do...

We went to the beach. We decided we were very wrong to think the beach was just one giant hassle. The kids loved it. We loved it. Becky taught us the best way to hit the beach...rolling cart, large cooler, and two umbrellas. Yep, we were comfy.
